Data deletion instructions

Metonomus lets you delete the data we hold about you. This page explains how.

If you are a Business User (you connected a Facebook Page, Instagram account or ad account)

1. Send an email to support@metonomus.io from the address you used to sign up, with the subject "Delete my data". Say whether you want the whole account deleted or only specific data.
2. We confirm your request by email and delete your data without undue delay and within 30 days.
3. You can also remove Metonomus yourself at any time in your Facebook or Instagram settings (Business Integrations): removing the app ends our access to your accounts immediately, and Meta notifies us so we delete the data connected to your account.

What we delete: the data connected to your account, including access tokens, connected account records, messages, lead form submissions and related records. On request we also delete the remaining data of your account.

If you messaged a business that uses Metonomus, or submitted a lead form

Your messages and lead form details belong to the business you contacted, and Metonomus processes them for that business. You can ask the business directly to delete them, or email support@metonomus.io with your Instagram username or the details you submitted, and we will delete them.

Automatic deletion

Some categories of data, such as lead form submissions, are deleted automatically after a fixed period (currently 90 days).
